All I need doing these hot summer days to stay cool is a big refreshing ice cold drink and this ice tea is one of them…

I adore unsweetened ICE TEA in every flavor I could get and especially this delicious, spicy and aromatic one…

This delicious ice tea is unsweetened but adding sugar or honey is optional…

Hibiscus is the petals of the rose and I love everything about it… I love using its essence and its essential oils in cakes, frosting, cupcakes and drinks and this delicious ice tea is as refreshing as it can be…

6 bags of hibiscus tea

4 large green tea – ice tea bags

1 stick of cinnamon

1 pint fresh raspberry

Juice of 1 lemon

3 star anise

6 whole cloves

12-14 cups of boiling water

6 cups of ice

1/4 tsp. ground cardamom

Add the raspberries to ice tea jar with a dispenser.

Smash the raspberries with wooden spoon and stirr.

Carefully add the boiling water and let it set in the fridge for few hours

Strain the water with fine mesh and smash the raspberries again with a wooden spoon to remove the seeds, scrap the bottom of the fine mesh in to the jar and return the flavored water back to the ice tea jar.

Add the spices, lemon juice and the tea bags, stir for a minute to mix, Store in the fridge overnight or few days before your party, add ice and serve.

As you could see from the above picture I got too excited the next day when I served this delicious drink that I forgot to take a picture of this beautiful concoction before I served everyone, lucky for me I remembered to take these pictures of the full, Icy gorgeous glasses.

Enjoy!!
